Calhoun County 4-H entered an exhibit in the Alabama
National Fair in October. The title of the exhibit was
Celebrate 4-H at the Fair. Each ride in the exhibit
represented a different aspect of the 4-H curriculum. 4-H
members from across the county worked for three months to
create the 6-ft high, 12-ft wide, and 8-ft deep exhibit. It
won second place.
Also 4-H and FFA members from the county participated
in the Youth Market Lamb Show and the Youth Swine Show at
the National Fair. Congratulations to Christina Turner,
Colton Christjohn, Daniel Trantham, and Josh Gardner for
their hard work and accomplishments at the Fair. They all
did a great job! |
