They say we are what we eat...and drink. Water is the
most fundamental food and as such is very tightly
regulated.
Where Watkopie Water begins life is a mystery, yet
we know that it is naturally filtered through limestone and rises
deeply from the earth...at least 400 feet, where it is
abruptly ejected from the spring head at an astounding
rate of 31 million gallons per day! The very depth and
natural filtration ensures that the delicious waters
remain unaffected by man-made disturbances upon the
surface.
The natural spring water is tanker trucked from the
spring to our state of the art facility in Anniston,
Alabama in stainless steel where it is doubly purified.
Testing of this most basic of food products, water, is
ongoing. Watkopie Water meets or exceeds the
requirements of the Alabama Department of Environmental
Management and licensing authorities in Florida and
other southeastern states.

On the Technical side...
Watkopie Natural Springs Water is gently processed
through a system which safeguards against
undesirable materials but preserves the renowned
purity, good taste, and healthful content:
- Transported in
a stainless steel tanker from the nearby spring
to the bottling plant.
- Filtered
through 4 feet of activated green sand to remove
any large physical objects.
- Exposed to
ultraviolet light to kill any bacteria.
- Passed through
a tower containing activated granular carbon.
- Filtered down
to 0.5 microns through a nylon mesh cartridge.
- Ozone, a safe,
but active form of oxygen is entrained as a taste free
disinfectant.
- Finally, the
water is filtered through additional cartridges down
to 0.45 microns prior to the bottling process.
- Shipped to you
in a variety of sterile containers.
